All-Ukrainian public organization Ukrainian Association of Retired Persons provides exactly useful information that is significant for the every other person of the elderly age in Ukraine.

 

The problem of modern information space that it is glutted with much information and it becomes even more difficult to choose the necessary and the useful one.

 

Every modern man who has reached the retirement age is looking often for the answers to the questions he is preoccupied with. And the focus of his interests is broad enough. That’s why any help as to the information search is useful while solving unconventional tasks and supplying all routine gaps. Each of us is eager to live to a ripe old age enjoying good health, love, understanding and support of the world.

 

Ukrainian Association of Retired Persons has always been an organization, providing the elderly with a maximum of useful information, and continues to provide information as for the members of UARP, as well as for all the comers in order to join the readership of our printed editions. We are striving to attract the elderly to active life, improve their social role in the community, learn something new, and, finally, make the every new day a joyful one.

 

UARP provides the members of the Association with free periodicals and one-shots. These UARP editions aren’t accepted either to subscription or by retail yet.

 

 The UARP magazine Our Generation has been issued since April 2002. The language of edition is Ukrainian.


The 1st edition of UARP newspaper 50 Plus was issued in March 2003 and was intended for the people who are in their early 50ies and even older. This edition is also issued in Ukrainian.

Special directories of the participating enterprises, organizations and institutions were published as part of UARP program at the special collection Steps towards.The stated program is providing discounts for products and services for the members of the Association.

 

Special directories have been issued for the people with limited possibilities. One should mention the following: the directory of vehicles and nursing facilities for the sick and the elderly under domiciliary and the directory of vehicles and nursing facilities for sustained stroke patients and the others.Ukrainian Association of Retired Persons issued these directories in cooperation with various public organizations and associations, including Council of Veterans of Ukraine, Society of Disabled People of Ukraine etc.

The majority of printed media disposes of electronic versions under present-day conditions. The advantage of online media publishing is obvious, as the information feed rate plays probably the most important role in this process.

 

The existence of own pages in Internet makes the information resources accessible from almost any part of the world. This fact has a great advantage over the print media.
