Intelligence: Militants Keep Artillery in Violation of the Minsk Agreements

The Ukrainian intelligence has recorded a build-up of rebel artillery with a calibre of over 100-mm in violation of the Minsk agreements, the Chief Department of the Intelligence Service reports.

"The Ukrainian party has informed OSCE that enemy artillery systems with a calibre of over 100 mm were discovered near Seleznivka, Petrivske and Sontseve, which is a violation of the Minsk agreement," a statement reads.

 

ATO Headquarters: Lull in Fighting in the ATO Area; the Armed Forces of Ukraine Withdraw Weapons in the Mariupol Direction

The situation in Donbass was calm overnight, which enabled the Ukrainian Army to carry on withdrawing weapons from the demarcation line in the Mariupol direction, the ATO press centre posted on Facebook on Wednesday.

"After having withdrawn tanks in the Debaltseve direction, Ukrainian troops are to continue to pull back weapons in the Mariupol direction. The same as yesterday, OSCE representatives will monitor the whole process today," the press centre said.

Poroshenko: Gunmen Start Withdrawing Tanks near Novoazovsk

Rebels have begun withdrawing tanks and equipment with a calibre of less than 100-mm near Novoazovsk, President Petro Poroshenko announced during his visit to Ivano-Frankivsk as reported by his press secretary Svyatoslav Tsegolko on Twitter.

However, Interfax-Ukraine added that Poroshenko had also informed about launching the withdrawal of light artillery and mortars.

General Staff: 1 Service Member Wounded in the ATO Area in the past 24 Hours

1 service member was wounded in the ATO area in the past 24 hours, a spokesman for the Presidential Administration on ATO issues, Andriy Lysenko, reported at a briefing.

Lysenko noted that neither rebel armed provocations nor enemy UAVs were recorded in the past 24 hours.
