Dzobak Volodymyr Dzobak Volodymyr

Russia has sent humanitarian aid to Ukraine

A convoy carrying humanitarian aid for residents of Eastern Ukraine has left Moscow region, ITAR-TASS reported directly from the scene of the event.

The convoy consists of about 280 trucks. According to the news agency, vehicles will deliver food, medicines and drinking water to those in need. There is about two thousand tons of humanitarian aid in total.

National Security Council: No humanitarian convoy has received the right to enter Ukraine

No humanitarian convoy has been certified and has been allowed to pass into the territory of Ukraine, Spokesman for Ukrainian National Security and Defence Council information centre (NSDC) Andriy Lysenko reported at a briefing.

He showed a video, in which Russian military equipment was being repainted in white colour.

Lysenko explained that equipment being prepared by service members belongs to the law enforcement department.

In accordance with the norms of international law, no law-enforcement units are eligible for convoying humanitarian aid.

Russians will pay honour to perished Ukrainians in the city of Moscow despite of authorities' bans

A public action is due to be held in Moscow to commemorate those perished in the East of Ukraine.

The march will be called a "commemoration meeting", Radio Freedom reports.

Moscow authorities have already twice rejected a proposal to allow the action, which was first planned as an anti-war march.

Participants intend to lay flowers and light candles at the diplomatic mission of Ukraine.
