ATO forces have finally blocked off insurgents near the town of Gorlovka
An offensive of ATO forces in many directions at the same time made it harder for terrorists in all areas of Luhansk and Donetsk regions to defend themselves, the head of the group "Information resistance" Dmytro Tymchuk reports.
The liberation of Uglegorsk has allowed the Ukrainian Army to finally block enemy's factions in the area. According to Tymchuk, positions of ATO forces are constantly shelled, including constant bombardments from the Russian territory.
Positions and roadblocks of ATO forces near Ilovaysk, Petrovske, Stukalova Balka, Krynychky, Shyshkove, and Nyzhniy Minchenko were fired upon twice by tanks; also, several positions of ATO forces were shelled at the Luhansk airport by mortars, artilleries and BM-21 Grads. A truck of ATO forces was fired at by fighters from a civilian vehicle near Petrivka. Positions of ATO forces were fired upon three times from the Russian side near the settlements of Illinka and Stepanivka by BM-21 Grads and cannons.
A public action in support of Ukraine's territorial integrity has been dispersed in Moscow
The Moscow police detained people gathered to support Ukraine's territorial integrity, UNIAN reports.
The police completely surrounded Leontiivskiy alley, where the Ukrainian diplomatic mission is situated, and forced out all those who had come to take part.
A lot of people were chanting: "Glory to Ukraine! Glory to our heroes! ".
Also, Russian participants shouted "Opprobrium!", and "we won't forget, we won't forgive."
Red Cross has not yet been provided with a list of Russian items
The Red Cross has not received complete information about the content of the Russian humanitarian convoy heading for Ukraine, the coordinator of public relations ICRC in Kiev Andre Lorsch said in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.
The Committee received two official messages from Russia on Thursday. The first one informed, the convoy headed for Ukraine, and the second one came after a few hours and told about the contents of the convoy.
"We have received a general description of the convoy, but we need some additional and more accurate information about what precisely these trucks are carrying", said Lorsch.
According to him, the whereabouts of the column is still unknown. It is also not clear, when it will reach the border of Ukraine.
Lorsch said that the Committee kept in touch with both parties. "We carry on negotiations in Moscow and in Geneva", in particular with Russian Red Cross representatives, as well as with diplomats of the Russian Federation.
In turn, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that humanitarian aid would not be loaded out on other trucks and the column would reach its destination point. The trucks should have Ukrainian number plates fixed on them, he added.
National Security Council: Terrorists destroy schools, bridges and mine mines
143 educational institutions of Donetsk region were ruined as a result of shelling, Spokesman for Ukrainian National Security and Defence Council information centre (NSDC) Andriy Lysenko reported during a briefing on Wednesday.
According to him, such destruction is as a rule caused by Russian weapons and ammunition.
Insurgents also seized a number of mines in Sverdlovsk.
At least 11 soldiers were killed in the past 24 hours excluding those ambushed by the enemy
11 servicemen killed, 41 wounded during hostilities in the ATO area in the past 24 hours, Spokesman for the National Security Council Andriy Lysenko said.
"According to the official information, which we have recently received, 11 soldiers were killed, and 41 wounded," he said.
"There is still no reliable information on how many soldiers were ambushed at a roadblock and got shot dead", he said.
