Tymchuk: Another military convoy entered into Ukraine from the side of Russia; 40 new mercenaries in Gorlivka
A group of forty Russian mercenaries arrived in Gorlivka.
"All the group members are former participants of military operations from the Russian Federation", Dmytro Tymchuk from the "Information Resistance" group states .
"At least 40 buses with gunmen on board who had been trained in Russia came to the territory of Ukraine in the past two days", Tymchuk says.
Terrorists continue to bombard Donetsk: 5 civilians killed
"PRD" and "PRL" have already cost Ukraine 12 billion UAH and thousands of jobs
The total damages caused by the conflict in Donbas region have been estimated at 12 billion Hryvnias; hundreds of thousands of people have lost their jobs.
In general, Donbas has already lost 11,88 billion UAH.
4,5 thousand dwelling houses, 4,7 thousand of energy supply objects, and 132 industrial estates have been completely destroyed since the conflict broke out earlier this year.
290 schools and 45 hospitals have been damaged (the school year has not yet started at 900 schools) in Donetsk and Lugansk regions. 70% of medical personnel have moved out of the region.
350 thousand people have already lost their jobs (estimated 30 thousand people in Lugansk only) since the beginning of the conflict; other 115 thousand are likely to lose theirs soon.
Nearly 600 businesses have stopped operating in the regional centres.
City Council: Five civilians killed, 24 injured in Donetsk on Wednesday
Five civilians have been killed in Donetsk as a result of ongoing shelling, the city council said on its Web site.
Besides, a residential building in Zoologichna Street was fully destroyed after being hit by shells. Damage also has been caused to the roof and adjacent structures of a nearby house in the same street. Furthermore, private residential buildings in Chervonopartyzanska Street and the house No. 16 in Piatnytskogo Street have been ruined, as have the tower blocks in Kuibysheva Street. Shells also hit the building of a utilities firm's office number four at: 211a in Kuibysheva Street, as well as two shopping centres - Amstor (38 Sokolyna Street) and Volna (217b Kuibysheva Street).
After the artillery shelling an emergency team from Donetskmiskgaz (a local natural-gas supplier) registered damage caused to gas pipelines in the city's Kyivsky and Kuibyshevsky districts.
On Thursday morning residents reported hearing occasional volleys of gunfire in the Kuibyshevksy and Kirovsky districts.
At the same time, utilities firms and emergency teams are working, the city council said. Public road transport services (busses, trolleybuses and trams) run according to schedules, without disruptions.
Russia transfers to Donbas Ukrainian materiel previously seized in the Crimea
The intelligence service of Ukraine has detected transferring of equipment with Ukrainian signs on them from the territory of the Crimea to Donbas, a spokesman for the Ukrainian National Security and Defence Council (NSDC) Andriy Lysenko said on Thursday.
"We suspect there will be possible provocations in inhabited settlements of Donbas using allegedly Ukrainian weapons", Lysenko said.
Russia rotates its forces in Ukraine replacing them with new terrorists
Professional Russian service members are being drawn off from the front line and taken to the border with Russia; new terrorists who were trained in camps of the Russian intelligence service situated in Rostov region have arrived to replace them, a spokesman for the Ukrainian National Security and Defence Council (NSDC) Andriy Lysenko reported at a briefing.
He also noted that several columns of matériel (10 pieces of equipment in each) left Donbas heading for Russia on Wednesday.
Russia has replaced its regular army with terrorists, Lysenko stresses.
Only airport survived in Donbas in Severodonetsk to be opened
The only survived airport in Donbas in Severodonetsk (Luhansk region) will be opened, the press service of the head of Luhansk Regional Administration has reported.
The regional administration said that the only survived airport in Donbas which could service regular domestic and international flights was left in Severodonetsk. It belongs to public joint-stock company Ukrtransgaz and it is not functioning.
Head of Luhansk Regional Administration Gennady Moskal has held talks with Board Chairman of Ukrtransgaz Igor Prokopov on the transfer of the airport to the balance of the regional administration. The documents are being prepared in line with Ukrainian law. After the transfer of the airport the administration will take all measures to launch the Severodonetsk airport and perform regular flights, first of all, to Kyiv.
