The Pension Fund of Ukraine named the category of Ukrainians with the highest pension

Former judges receive nearly UAH 50,000 a month

As of April 1, the total number of pensioners in Ukraine was 11 268 327 persons and the average pension payment amounted to UAH 3 170.14. This was reported on the website of the Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFC).

According to the PFC, payments were received by:

• pensions by age - 8 467 091 persons, average pension - UAH 3 166,53,

• disability - 1 411 732 persons, average pension - UAH 2 499,74,

• in connection with the loss of the breadwinner - 538 157 persons, the average pension - UAH 2 753,18,

• for years of service - 218 988 persons, the average pension - 2 882.06 UAH,

• Social pensions - 75,971 people, average pension - UAH 1,655.77,

• disability - 1 411 732 persons, average pension - UAH 2 499,74,

• life allowance for judges - 3 380 persons, average pension - UAH 49 844,23.

• In addition, 553,188 people received pensions of servicemen, and the average pension amounted to UAH 5,378.17.

Recall, as of April 1, the average payment for 11.3 million pensioners was 3170.14 UAH. Thus, since the beginning of 2020, the average size of pensions has increased by UAH 87.16 or by 2.8% (as of January 1, 2020, the average size of pensions was UAH 3082.98).

As reported by RBC-Ukraine, on April 23, the Pension Fund of Ukraine sent UAH 9.9 billion for the payment of one-time financial assistance to pensioners in the amount of UAH 1,000.

It should be noted that the monthly life allowance is paid to a retired judge at the rate of 50% of the judge's remuneration for a judge who holds a position.
