Pensioners who did not fall under the May indexation will be paid later

In summer and early winter.

As many as three indexations of pensions are planned to be held in Ukraine this year.

This is due to the change in the size of the subsistence level.

The first indexation began on May 1. It affected 8 million Ukrainian pensioners.

These are, in particular, citizens who receive a pension: by age, disability, loss of breadwinner and years of service (nurses and teachers with at least 30 years of experience in the profession).

The next increase in payments was also planned for July 1, and then - on December 1.

From July 1, 2020 - in connection with the increase of the subsistence level to UAH 2,118 - the amount of the "minimum wage" pension should be increased to UAH 1,712 (by UAH 74).

And in December, the size of the minimum pension in Ukraine will increase by another UAH 57 - to UAH 1,769.

In addition, in connection with the increase in the "minimum wage" should be transferred to retirees and payments for overtime.

Thus, every pensioner who has more than 35 years of experience for men and 30 years for women receives a 1% increase from the minimum pension for each "extra" year. Today it is UAH 16.38.

From July 1, the allowance will be UAH 17.12, and from December 1 - UAH 17.69.

Note that this amount will be additionally charged for EACH YEAR of overtime experience.

Minister of Social Policy Maryna Lazebna noted that there are categories of pensioners who do not fall under indexation in May. Their pensions will be increased from July 1 and December 1.

All this will be done at the expense of the Pension Fund, - said the head of the Ministry of Social Policy.

We will remind that since May 1, 2020 the size of the average pension in Ukraine makes 2710 UAH 60 kopeks.
