Happy is the family that has their granny and grandpa. The family that has respect for the elderly, takes care, protects, considers their advices, doesn't contradict, tries to prolong life for those, who gave it us, is a respected family.
For many years Ukrainian Association of Retired Persons has been living those weekdays and holidays, which got elderly people of Ukraine during a thousand years. Your problems are also our problems. The attitude of the world you feel, we feel also. Very oft you have to survive to live and to fight to win. We are anxious about every your destiny. Together with you we get to know anything but simple life of ukrainian retiree.
All these years we have been establishing and implementing number of programs, which make your life better, we try to help every of you. Tens of thousands of the elderly, who are already members of our association, are convinced of that. Together we solve daily problems of elderly people.
Looking at our society it is just astonishing, why do grey-headed people, who have deserved respect, gratitude and attention for their hard life, have to carry the weight of all their problems on their shoulders? Why does society help only with words but not with actions? It proves once again: there is no people with such strong spirit and faith than you, our dear parents. May God have mercy on you.
The last day of 2012 is passing. May this day take all your troubles and cares in the past, may the old problems don't bother you tomorrow. May "tomorrow" open a new and good page in your life.
I personally and in the name of all those, who works at UARP, sincerely congratulate all members of association, all seniors of Ukraine, all people of this country with New Year and Christmas.
May your faith never left you, may God protect you, and may your children and grand children be always good and grateful. I wish you health and long life, peace and comfort in your houses, love and support from your nearest and dearest. May the fate of every senior person become a priority of Ukrainian state. You are our wisdom, experience, advice and consolation. You are our past, our present and our future. So may the generation that respects senior people never end.
Sincerely yours Volodymyr Dzyobak,
The Chairman of the Council of UARP
