Working pensioners should be encouraged

Proposal of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on cutting back pensions to working pensioners caused public response. A part of retirement cannot be withdrawn from pensioners! On the contrary, it should be canceled contributions to the pension fund for working pensioners. This opinion was expressed in exclusive interview to UBR.UA Volodymyr Dziobak, Chairman of the Board of Ukrainian Association of Retired Persons

"We do not agree with the IMF. We do not agree with those who would be against pensioners taking stupid decisions. IMF has never had normal proposals, except for one country. Umansky in an interview said that the IMF gathered some theorists. But we need the practices, "- said Dziobak.

 "How can we reduce the (pension, - Ed.)? Then pensioners stop working because they will have no incentive. Either they will go into the" shadow ", or not work," - underlined Dziobak.

 "If pensioners will stop work - we will have more parasites for the state. Conversely, if an elderly persons help themselves and his family we have to give him the "green light." I would remove from them all pension charges, because they currently have an earned pension. Impossible twice charge a person for the same (pension collection, - Ed.) "- pointed Dziobak.

Let us recall that the draft letter of Governments of Ukraine to IMF is about IMF proposals which were made ​​for a number of positions to Ukrainian Cabinet. This was reported by the government's press service.

 "This proposal is accepted for consideration, but no decision on it accepted, the work on it is continuing. Course, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov did not sign anything on this matter. Our government after working on proposals to the IMF will send to the Fund our vision of cooperation with it," - said in a press service.

The press service stressed that the Cabinet does not agree with a number of proposals of the IMF, in particular - to reduce pensions to working pensioners.
