Dzobak Volodymyr Dzobak Volodymyr

By the invitation of American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) the Chairman of the Council of UARP Volodymyr Dzyobak came to Chicago, where on the 5-6th of September takes place the representative forum, dedicated to AARP anniversary.

According to the program there will be held a number of meetings with leaders and experts of AARP, experiences will be shared on how to improve the life quality of senior people, will be introduced programs of American colleagues, which are not established in Ukraine yet.

It is planned the speech of V. Dzyobak, in which he is going to talk about a problem, which bothers not only Ukrainian retired persons. The problem concerns the protection of rights of the elderly, the fight against any attempts of discrimination towards citizens including also age discrimination. In Ukraine and in the whole world the role of the elderly in society is constantly increasing, but at the same time the so-called "third age" people are being excluded from the system of state management, from all areas of social life. This leads to a low quality of management decisions, to a lot of mistakes and miscalculations. Volodymyr Dzyobak has also intention to consult AARP experts about  health insurance, that is of a great importance to the 14 million ukrainian citizens of retirement age.
