Головним інструментом нинішніх олігархів є безправний люмпен, який живе на подачках від держави, на грані фізичного виживання. Ось чому значна частина пенсіонерів є найкращим їх електоратом, який і допомагає часто приводити до влади їх ставлеників. Для малого і середнього бізнесу сьогодні закриті економічні ліфти у цілих галузях економіки, бо з кожним роком сфери зацікавленості олігархії збільшуються, перекриваючи кисень усім іншим.

The UARP delegation in Germany

At the invitation of the European Senior Citizens Union’s President, the delegation of the All-Ukrainian Association of Retired Persons made an official visit to Germany. The Chairman of the UARP Council Volodymyr Dzyobak headed the delegation, which consisted of the Deputy Chairman of the Association Council, editor-in-chief of the UARP editions Oleh Kravchenko, the Director of the UARP Medical department, surgeon Yurii Bukovsky, the Head of the Department for pensioners, veterans and disabled of the Sevastopol Local State Administration Liubov Bykovska.

 

The UARP delegation visited a number of clinics and homes for the elderly and mentally handicapped people in Bonn, Langenfeld, Viersen. There it got to know in detail the experience in social protection of invalids and older citizens, discussed different points in terms of medical social aid for the sick with German experts, met with political and public figures of Koln, Bonn, Berlin, and other cities of Germany.

 

– We are so pleased to the German friends, - said the Head of the delegation V. Dzyobak during the final meeting at the European Senior Citizens Union’, - for that constant care and attention that we felt in both Berlin and Koln, Bonn, Langenfeld and Viersen. This short trip to Germany comprised both business meetings and admirable cultural programme. It stored the memory with new information and impressions, and added to experience.

 

The Chairman of the UARP Council invited the ESCU President Dr. Bernhard Worms together with German colleagues to the principal office of the All-Ukrainian Association of Retired Persons in Kyiv in order to get to know the activity of the UARP regional branch offices. It was with gratitude that Dr. Worms accepted the invitation and ensured that the relationships with Ukrainian friends are extended.
