Dzobak Volodymyr Dzobak Volodymyr

Taking aspirin doubles the risk of blindness in elderly people
Taking aspirin doubles the risk of blindness in elderly people Older people taking aspirin have double the risk of an eye disease that can cause blindness, say researchers. Sir David Nicholson: 'Hospitals are bad places for old, frail people'
Sir David Nicholson: 'Hospitals are bad places for old, frail people' Sir David Nicholson has become the most important man you've never heard of. He talks to Oliver Wright. To locals it is known as the Kremlin – a vast monolithic red-brick office block built on a hill overlooking Leeds city centre. It is a fitting nickname. Because behind the austere façade is the headquarters of a vast, new – some would say – monolithic organisation which has an annual budget... Forward>>

Whole body vibration may help elderly get up and go
Whole body vibration may help elderly get up and go WHEN the elderly can’t exercise, stints on a vibrating platform may help older adults become slightly stronger, faster and more agile, say Spanish scientists.
